The woman behind the Cosmic Waitress is Cassandra Ferrera. Cassandra lives in a micro-community in the hills of west Sonoma County in Northern California with her husband, son, two other families and many animal friends.In addition to channeling her super hero identity as the Cosmic Waitress, Cassandra catalyzes community as a Regenerative Real Estate Agent. Facilitating sustainable community and affordable housing through cooperative real estate purchases. |
The story of the Cosmic Waitress…
Many years ago in Durango , Colorado , Cassandra was in a woman's group with Carolyn Hobbs and Jo Alexander. They creatively referred to the process of setting one's intentions as “putting your order in to the Cosmic Waitress.” This concept danced in and out of Cassandra's life for over 10 years before landing on the pages of her morning journal as her pen name for her astrology column in a local food magazine.
Once created, the Cosmic Waitress has developed
a life of her own. Responding to the appetite all around
her for more digestible astrology, Cassandra takes the Cosmic Waitress into many wonderful situations to enliven, interact, and awaken. In a quest to live the Playa Life of Burning Man in a
more integrated existence, Cassandra encourages all
fellow travelers to activate their super hero identity
and have maximum fun with this precious life.
